2. Review of AGM Meeting minutes:

   Some changes to be made from AGM - name corrections: Land over Landings; Consider 'One Ton Challenge' look for volunteers; need update to Financial highlights Peter approved and Karen seconded

3. Parkfest wrap up:

   Thank you letter to Norman for petting zoo - Peter to confirm if sent
   Check other thank you letters
   $300 donation to food bank
   Requests from adjacent community to join association - we will inform them to see if they are interested to pursue it further Follow Up action to Brenda and Peter

4. Financial Update:

   Karen - all expenses to be paid by cheque this year
   Karen will send in a follow on note
   Appropriate Executive to meet at BMO at 11:00AM Saturday January 21^st

5. Seaton Land Update:

   Peter to follow on any updates

6. Airport Update:

   Karen to follow on any updates - all candidates are against airport.

7. Spring Flyer:
   • Look at distribution of flyers - Week of March 20^th
   • Consider using an e-mail distribution list
   
   
8. 2006 Projects:
   • Garage Sale - May 6^th 2006 (rain date May 7^th)
   • Parkfest - September 16^th 2006
   • Neighbourhood clean up day / (previously known as Pickering Pride day) - donations from builders to include - AWCA 'Pitch In Parties' (Contact Chantal Whitaker 905.420.4660 ext 5221) - Sandy to follow up with Chantal - assistant Jan - look at June 3^rd
   • Altona Road improvements - lane widening and potential traffic study - Peter provided update at AGM - should discuss and send a letter to Rick Johnson again - Pat to follow up with association south
   • Valleyview Park lighting - need to review lighting in park and determine where lights could be placed - avoid extra lights on basketball court - maybe increase wattage on current lights - each member to go to park - Sandy may talk to last house on Westcreek
   • Durham Community One Ton Challenge - a spokesperson from our Association - wait for Bonnie to provide information (is this the distributor for the Energy saving lights)
   
   
9. Other Business

   Peter - nomination form for civic awards for this year - nominations close Feb 16^th
