Chicken Mushroom Dish
Comment
This recipe if very easy and quick. I serve it with rice and vegetables. This serves 3 to 4 people. Enjoy.Ingredients
- 4 chicken filets
- 2-3 cups sliced fresh mushrooms (canned may be substituted if desired)
- 1/2 cup of white wine
- 1 cup flour
- 1/2 cup to 3/4 cup butter (Becel margarine may be substituted if desired)
- Spices
- Italian seasoning
- Garlic powder
- Pepper
- Poultry seasoning
- Salt
Directions
Heat electric fry pan to 350°F and melt the butter in it. Melt until the butter is slightly brown.
Meanwhile, cut chicken into bite size pieces and season with spices listed above.
Dredge chicken in flour (easy if you put the flour into a bag and then mix the chicken into it).
Once the butter is slightly brown, put the chicken into the frying pan. Don't worry if you don't get all the extra flour off, as this helps to make the sauce at the end.
Toss the chicken until browned.
Take the chicken out at this point, add the mushrooms and cook them until soft. Optionally, you can throw in the mushrooms a bit earlier and cook everything all together until done.
Once everything is cooked then pour in the white wine. Mix well and once a sauce if formed turn the frying pan off and you are ready to eat.
