General Tips
To keep potatoes from budding, place an apple in the bag with potatoes.
To prevent egg shells from cracking when boiling, add a pinch of salt to the water.
After painting, place an open bowl of vinegar in the room to help speed up the removal of the fumes of paint.
After turning off your automatic drip coffee maker, open the lid where you put the water in to let any excess moisture evaporate. This will reduce mold build up in the reservoir.
Wrap celery in aluminum foil when putting in the refrigerator and it will keep for weeks.
Tips to keep "paper" in your home and office to a minimum

open your mail over the recycle bin
attend to paper once, instead of shuffling it from pile to pile....File it OR Act on it Or Recycle it
magazines & newspapers....rip out articles you want to read and recipes you want to use then recycle the rest
only clip coupons if you plan to use them
have a file system that works for you and weed out unwanted and outdated paper yearly
